Ame-Lia Tamburrini - Circles Of Change

How many people would say that receiving a diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma opened a “space for something new to happen”?  Ame-Lia Tamburrini knew she was ready for a change.  Would she have made these changes if it were not for her cancer journey?

Once treatment is completed and life is supposed to get back to ‘normal’, one is expected to pick up the pieces and rebuild your life.  Yet nothing is the same.  Taking us on a journey beyond the physical implications of cancer, and what it means to piece your life together following treatment, Ame-Lia suggests it is a like a Tsunami had ravaged her life.

She is honouring the grief and loss associated with a Cancer diagnosis, while also speaking to the opportunity cancer provided for transformation to occur.  Through her season of deep work Ame-Lia discovered a new lens from which she now views herself, her practices and life itself.  The invitation is to identify the many ways in which we “check out” of our lives, and to find the gifts associated with remaining “checked-in”.
